The first fully digital mutation of a company in Switzerland
More than 200,000 company changes are made in the Registry of commerce in Switzerland every year. Companies that specialise in doing this usually still carry out the process of changing a company on paper, and this is often very time-consuming.
In cooperation with DeepCloud, the platform Hoop has succeeded in making the process of changing a company completely digital and thus registering changes at the Registry of commerce quickly and simplifying often tedious paperwork. Companies throughout Switzerland therefore benefit greatly from this fully digital process.
The case at hand is a mutation of persons within a Limited Company (Ltd.). After entering the details of the company change into the Hoop platform, the documents required for the mutation were immediately generated and then signed electronically with a QES signature by the responsible persons. Once the documents were signed, they were transferred directly to the Registry of commerce of the Canton of Zurich via the Hoop platform.
The entire mutation process, which usually takes several days in Switzerland, was completed in a record time of about 20 minutes.
Four working days later, the company change was registered in the Registry of commerce of the Canton of Zurich. The Commercial Register now presents the company's correct and up-to-date data.
